Author’s Couch is a workspace for writing, editing, reviewing and producing books, operated by Maldicore Group Pvt Ltd. It is currently in active development, and features may change.

You need an account to use the service. Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and give accurate information when you register. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

You keep all rights to your manuscripts, artwork and other material. You give us only the permission needed to store, process, render and display that material so the service can work for you and for the people you invite, including sending the parts you select to an AI provider when you start an AI feature. We do not use your book to train models, and we do not use it for marketing.

Do not use the service to upload material you have no right to use, to break the law, or to attempt to reach another account’s data.

When you invite a reviewer, you are sharing a frozen version of your manuscript with that person. Reviewers may read it and comment on it. You can close a review round at any time.

AI assistance produces suggestions, not facts. Nothing is applied to your manuscript unless you choose to apply it. Check anything you keep.

We work to keep the service running and your work safe, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability. Keep your own copies of finished files you care about; the app lets you download them at any time.

You can stop using the service and ask for your account to be deleted at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.

You are responsible for the material you bring into the service and for the files you produce from it. Check any publishing file before you send it to a printer or a publishing platform.
